How to ship your part to Power Brake Sales



• Take pictures of your part so you know where all your fittings and attachments belong when it is time to install your part.
• Drain all fluid from your part (all shippers treat wet boxes as hazardous waste and it delays delivery)
• Remove all fittings, pulleys, hoses, lines and any non-essential parts from the unit. (Keep rods and check valves in place on vacuum units)
• Place unit in a plastic bag to prevent additional fluid from leaking (tall kitchen trash bags work well)
• Pack your unit securely (we are not responsible for any shipment damage)
• VITAL – include your contact information (name and phone number) both inside and outside the package. Business cards work fine. This is how we contact you when your part has been remanufactured and is ready for     payment and to send back to you.
• Please tell us what we are doing with this part, ie if it is a core return, need it remanufactured.
• Extremely helpful to also include year, make and model of vehicle.
• VIN numbers are not useful and are not necessary.

At this time we ship all units via UPS for tracking and quality issues.



Core Return Information

You do not need a RTV number to return your core

• Verify that your purchased unit is working correctly.
• Use the box your part came in to ship your core back if you can.
• Drain your part of any fluid (shippers treat wet boxes as hazardous materials and it will delay your shipment)
• Remove any and all fittings (you should install your purchased unit before sending your core back for this reason)
• Pack your core securely (damaged cores will have damage charges)
• Include a copy of your invoice (allows for faster core credit)
• If you do not have a copy of the invoice available then please include your name and phone number so we can contact you if there are any issues.
• Write “CORE” on your invoice and outside the box.
• Ship back to Power Brake Sales (address below)

• Please allow 2-3 business days for us to credit your core charge.
• The core credit will be charged back to the same credit card used for the purchase. NO EXCEPTIONS
• Many credit card companies take 5-7 working days before your credit will post.
